I went into this series as a huge fan of the anime, but I'm going to try not to let that color my impressions of the manga too much--because the two presentations of this story have proven to be very different, so far. That said, I'll get the comparisons out of the way now, then focus ...

One of my favorites this year, hands down. yen press did a great job with it! ...

A trio of teenage girls aided by one of their teachers, take shelter in their school in an attempt to survive the zombie apocalypse. I really like this one - I seem to be having a run of good manga (or maybe just low standards. ...

3.5 Stars - I checked this one out on a whim. I?ve been out of the loop in regards to anime and manga for several years now so I missed out on the hype that apparently surrounded this one due to its anime. However, I can see why people were drawn to it! School-Live is an odd, a...

Did a re-read for this one on 24th October 2017, yep, right before Halloween! Not going to edit/re-do my review from 2014. A very short review, since after chapter 1 something happens that was a lovely surprise, and I want to keep that surprise for everyone else who starts reading ...

I wasn't wowed by this one, maybe because it's a zombie dystopia and I'm so over both of those things. It's also non-linear following the lives of young ladies trying to survive the zombie apocalypse by holing up in their former school. ...

I enjoyed the characters and what not. Was a bit confused sometimes lol. But I liked it enough to continue on. ...

An interesting setup - you start out not really knowing what's happening and getting more information along the way. ...

Delusional girl lives a dreamy existence in a post apocalyptic zombie infested future in which apparently only a small group of teen girls has survived in a special high school decked out with enough stuff to persevere even amongst the monsters. The girls are cute and spunky and likabl...

I've been meaning to watch the anime for a little while now but when I found out there was a manga, I began reading it immediately. I'm not disappointed in the least! Since I was a fan of Highschool of the Dead, I've really been hoping to find another zombie series like it and this has...

While not completely like the anime. Like many of the anime I've already seen before reading the manga. I already knew what I was going to expect. And trust me there are a LOT of differences between the anime and manga. For starters the cover and summary even spoils the twists that it ...

I got this one from Loot Crate Anime and to be honest I probably wouldn?t have bought it for myself as I am not a zombie fan (literally my least favorite urban fantasy sub group). It?s more like a 2.5 read. It has some interesting ideas but the world building is seriously lacking (...

This wasn?t a bad, it just wasn?t for me. We?re introduced to this airhead, she?s oblivious to her surroundings. Not really sure why as it?s never address, her friends however are very in touch with reality. They?re been living in the school for a while and making the most ...

4/5 Stars This is a reread for me, but it has been two or even three years since I read it the first time, and was surprised to find out that there are a lot of things I forgot! When I first started reading this series, it was during the time that new chapters were being released...

This story is about the cute high school survivors of the zombie apocalypse. This story is a good mixture of cute and creepy, although a little bit more cute. The characters are really adorable, not too cliche. My favorite is probably Megu-nee, but they all are likeable characters. Thi...

This seemingly cute manga still earns that psychological tag here, but the anime adaptation created such an amazing first episode and really built up the game-changing twist to get more of an impact. Here, there's still little signs that something is 'off', but then it just straight up...

Only low rating because it's just not my type of genre. To me, it's a mix of moe with zombies, and I just... absolutely hate zombie stories, and moe is just not my forte. The art is fine and the story is interesting, it's just not my thing. I read it because my roommate is subscribed t...

This shows a lot of promise. I was expecting more of a slice-of-life/slapstick approach, wherein Yuki's condition would be played more for laughs, but this is actually really psychologically interesting. Yuki's question of "Am I really okay like this?" and her friends' telling glances ...

Teenage girls living in their school surviving a zombie apocalypse? Its not bad, but not great either. There's not a lot of story in this first volume, just establishing the characters and the situation. I'll have to see another volume or two to decide if the story is worth following f...

This was really good. It's a storyline that's kind of been done before. High school kids have to survive the zombie apocalypse. The take on this though is different. There's mental pain and strife trying to stay alive and what if these girls are able to go about their normal lives like...

It was a bit hard to try to make sense of what was going on in this first volume. There were points where I couldn't tell if we were talking about a flashback, a delusion, or a real event until the end of the chapter. Maybe it would be easier to watch the anime with this one. ...

4.5 - I devoured this. The less you know going in, the better. I think anybody who just started this knowing the barest of minimums would have a really great time with it. I did too, but knowing as little as possible would have made it even better. ...

It was fine. Not my favorite. The first episode of the anime made a huge impact, but the rest of the season didn't live up to the idea. This is much more even keeled than that, but I think there could be a lot more done with the premise. ...

A very good volume one. Was a big fan of the anime. Can't wait for this one to start crushing my soul during a zombie apocalypse. ...

Clever and interesting premise, I'll be interested to learn more about the world in this series. ...

Post-apocalyptic slice-of-life. What more could you want? ...

Didn't really care to read this it was a okay manga , might check out the anime to see if I enjoy that better. ...

I got this one from Loot Crate Anime and to be honest I probably wouldn?t have bought it for myself as I am not a zombie fan (literally my least favorite urban fantasy sub group). It?s more like a 2.5 read. It has some interesting ideas but the world building is seriously lacking (...

This shows a lot of promise. I was expecting more of a slice-of-life/slapstick approach, wherein Yuki's condition would be played more for laughs, but this is actually really psychologically interesting. Yuki's question of "Am I really okay like this?" and her friends' telling glances ...

Can't wait for this one to start crushing my soul during a zombie apocalypse. ...

Clever and interesting premise, I'll be interested to learn more about the world in this series.

I did too, but knowing as little as possible would have made it even better. ...

It was fine. Not my favorite. The first episode of the anime made a huge impact, but the rest of the season didn't live up to the idea. This is much more even keeled than that, but I think there could be a lot more done with the premise. ...
